Rent-to-own is a credit agreement under the National Credit Act: we check that it is affordable for you before you sign, and you get a written quote with the full cost, the interest rate and every fee, binding for 5 business days.

Apply online
Your name and WhatsApp number, on your phone. It takes a minute.

ID and licence first
Photos of your ID and the back of your licence card, and a selfie. We check them with Home Affairs, usually the same day.

Then the rest
Upload your bank details, proof of address and 3 months of statements.

Checks and a written quote
We check that the payments fit your income. Your quote stays the same for 5 working days.

Sign and ride
We go through the agreement line by line, check the bike with you, and you ride away.

Pay weekly
A debit order on the same day every week. Can't pay one week? WhatsApp us that day.

It's yours
After your last payment we put the bike in your name.

- 18 or older
- A full motorcycle licence, not a learner's: code A, or A1 for the D-Lite 125
- A bank account for the weekly debit order
Upload these documents
- Your ID: SA ID, or a passport, refugee ID or asylum permit that lets you work
- A photo of the back of your motorcycle licence card
- A selfie, to match with your ID photo
- Proof of address in Pretoria or Rustenburg, not older than 3 months
- Your last 3 months of earnings statements from your delivery app, or 3 months of bank statements
- Your bank details for the debit order
We also do a credit check. The law requires us to make sure the payments fit your income.

Everything in writing
A plain-language agreement and a one-page summary. We go through it with you before you sign.
Insured from day one
Every bike is insured against theft and accidents. You know the most you could pay before you sign.
Optional maintenance
Take the maintenance plan and we pay for services and wear parts while you pay. Tyres are yours.
Fair if things go wrong
Behind on payments? We talk first. Can't carry on? Hand the bike back in good condition and walk away.
Questions
Is there a deposit?
[To confirm] The first week is paid up front. Any deposit will be shown here, and in writing, before you sign.
Do I have to take the maintenance plan?
No. It covers services and wear parts (not tyres) and is separate from your credit agreement. Say no and you pay only the credit part, shown in your quote, and service the bike yourself.
What if I can't finish paying?
Hand the bike back in good condition (normal wear is fine) and walk away. We won't ask you for the rest. Talk to us first: we may be able to agree a plan so you can keep it.
What happens if I miss a payment?
WhatsApp us the same day and we'll try to agree a plan. If payments stay behind, the National Credit Act sets out the notices we must send and your rights. We never take a bike without following the law.
What does the insurance cover?
Theft, hijacking and accident damage, until the bike is paid off. It costs R300 a month, at what it costs us, and includes the tracker. If you claim, you pay the excess. It doesn't cover your own injuries or your phone. (The law lets you use another insurer, but only with a policy that meets our requirements.)
What if the bike breaks down?
WhatsApp us. With the maintenance plan, services and wear-and-tear repairs are covered. Tyres are yours. The 3-year / 20,000 km factory warranty covers manufacturing faults.
Can I pay it off early?
Yes, at any time, with no penalty. You pay only what's still owed on that day. Ask us for a settlement figure.
Who pays for petrol and traffic fines?
You do: petrol, fines and tolls. When a fine comes to us, we name the rider who had the bike that day, as the law allows.
Can I ride for more than one app?
Yes. Uber Eats, Mr D, Sixty60, Bolt Food or courier work: ride for whoever pays you. You may not lend the bike or rent it to someone else.
